India’s state-owned telephone service provider company Indian Communications Corporation Limited (BSNL) has decreased Nepal telephone cost by 35 percent tariff rate.

The Economic Times said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi told that when calling a neighboring country phone, after keeping the tax cuts and the intense interest in the telecom it will make it affordable.”

Earlier International phone calls per minute was Rs. 16 (IRs 10) which was said to be 35 percent decreased. Now call to Nepal can be made between Rs. 40 to Rs.10 per minute money (IRs 6.50), according to the statement.
